Well it’s been a busy week and I’ve been like a kid in a candy store salivating over our new featured brand – Classic Crystal. Each piece is designed in Australia and features original Swarovski Elements crystals hand crafted in Austria. Featuring the finest in crystal, faux pearls and sterling silver elements Classic Crystal just took a classic and brought it into the 21st century.

Murano glass – Real vs Fake

A question that pops up time and time again is whether our products are original Murano glass beads or fakes. To answer this simply – our products are the REAL DEAL. Our  glass jewellery is made of original hand made Murano glass beads from the island of Murano, Venice Italy.

In fact, many of the Murano glass jewellery beads and/or ranges available in department  and chain stores are in fact made in Asia. Murano is the name of an island not a patented brand and therefore the use of the name Murano on a product does not automatically denote that it is an original Italian product.

Does this really  matter? Well, I beleive that if you invest in a product that you believe to be of a certain standard and nature, then you should feel confident that that’s exactly what you’re getting.

All our pieces come with a certificate of authenticity that insures that you are purchasing an original product from Murano, Italy. Not only are you purchasing a beautifully designed and handcrafted piece of jewellery, but also a part of Italy’s history. A craft that has been handed down through the generations dating back to the early 1200’s.
